MJ I won’t pretend to understand exactly how you feel. This is not a good year for me either. Business closed. Relationship ended. I ended it because it was going nowhere. I deserve better. September 9th was a really bad day. I was out and had suicidal thoughts. I felt so scared, I got home quickly in case I did something stupid out there.

If you’re on LinkedIn, please connect with me. I’ve a big network, let’s put the word out for you. I wrote about my situation. I had $2.05 in my purse, and was feeling suicidal. Most people just ignored me. A few gave me emotional support & encouragement. You really know who are your REAL friends when you’re down.

I’m also looking for work. Writing on Medium is one way to get yourself known.

How I got through the bad stage? By processing my emotions. Writing helps. You may not like to publish it but that’s up to you. By sharing my true situation, your true situation, letting it out. People value authenticity. They want to see the real you. Yes, mental health issues are still taboo. That’s why it’s good for us to share. So that we don’t become a statistic.

You’re not alone MJ. There are many kind and caring people here.
