Money is a powerful amplifier! Large amounts of money (like winning the lottery) increases who we are, before we had that change in our financial situation. If our character was that of a humble and generous person before we came into big money, it would allow us to be MORE generous to causes that are dear to our hearts.
Same for the reverse, like the asshole you mentioned.
Note about lottery winners. Many of them end up being financially worse off afterwards because their psychology of money did not allow them to KEEP or manage wealth. Their money mindset would cause them to sabotage themselves. To give away, lose money, spend like crazy and get into debt.
In some ways, it’s better not to win the lottery YET until we have mastered our psychology and changed our money mindset to a prosperity mindset. Otherwise it could be dangerous and destructive to our lives.
Having small wins over a number of years could prepare us to expand our Money Containers. I first heard of this concept from Japan’s Zen Millionaire, Ken Honda. It makes so much sense! How can we accept a sudden huge increase of money when our container is tiny or we have holes in it? We can’t. We would keep losing money from the leaks in our money container until we fix it or get a bigger one. #kenhonda #happymoney
