Rainesford Brilliant! You found the Pattern! I’m a Baby boomer and I’ve moved too many times to be good. Mostly from toxic family programming. When I was in my 20’s & early 30's my friends laughed at me because they had to change my address often in their Address book. It took me AGES to figure out WHY I was moving so much. It was subconscious. I wasted so much time moving, packing & unpacking. The storage industry was created because of people like me.

You mentioned feeling empty & lacked significant ties to people. That is a common problem. My best friends stopped contact. I was the one to contact them until I got fed up & gave up. Yesterday I found an old letter going back 20 years. This family was so kind to me and yet because of my restlessness, I neglected to keep in touch with them. I’m not even sure if the parents are still alive. >>Today I have many superficial relationships. Don’t let that become your fate. You must believe that you deserve REAL friends. Both face-to-face ones, as well as online ones.
