Ryan, I found your post entertaining & scary in parts. Never heard about Spirit Halloween stores before I read this. Yes, we miss the good old Blockbuster video stores…

The idea of selling “expensive fruit” in places where they don’t belong, would definitely kill any business idea! Perhaps the ghosts of Halloween are saying, “We’re bored of the same old, same old sweets man, give us something solid!” #marketing for dummies.

Would some curious tourist like to try out that fart-making sound machine? I bet they would find it amusing. Ghost themed sex toys? Just a bonus for the adventurer. #curiositymarketing

And before they leave, of course they must get a `cheap purse’ to show their friends back home. That scary clown did a really great job in persuading them! Buy something or else! “Look what I got in America?” Friends look on with bemused expressions on their faces.

Spirit Halloween stores know EXACTLY what people want. And how to spook them into getting it.
